With over 55,000 acres of terrain to explore, our self-guided Beaver Creek snowmobile rentals are the perfect way to discover Colorado’s pristine backcountry at your own pace. The Vail Pass Winter Recreation Area provides snowmobilers with over 80 miles of groomed trails and offers over 200 powder fields atop the Continental Divide for guests who prefer to blaze their own path.
Rentals depart from the Camp Hale base camp, located near Beaver Creek, Avon, and Vail, on the hour beginning at 9:00 am daily. Guest check-in is requested 30 minutes prior to your scheduled rental departure. For trail access and conditions, visit the White River National Forest website.
Self-Guided Snowmobile Rentals Near Beaver Creek, Colorado
Rentals are available for both single and double riders in 2-hour, 4-hour, and 8-hour sessions. Single snowmobile riders receive nimble and capable Ski-Doo Renegade 600cc machines, while double riders set out on Ski-Doo Grand Touring 600cc snowmobiles. All rental prices include gas and tax.
Helmets are included with every rental. Snowmobile suits, boots, and goggles are available for rent on-site on a first come, first served basis. Rental Requirements & Policies
- Guests must provide their own transportation to the snowmobile base camp. 4-wheel-drive or all-wheel-drive is recommended and frequently required during times of heavy snowfall. Please plan accordingly.
- Helmets are included with all rentals. Rental prices include gas and tax. Snowmobile suits, boots, and goggles are available for rent on-site on a first come, first served basis.
- Drivers must be 16 years of age with a valid driver’s license to operate a snowmobile. Drivers must be 18 years of age to carry a passenger.
- Prices do not include a $20.00 per person USFS Trail Use & Grooming Fee.
- All rentals are prepaid at the time of booking.
- A credit card imprint, serving as a damage deposit, is required on all rentals.
- A signed liability waiver is required prior to departure.
- All rentals have a 24-hour cancellation policy.
