With over 55,000 acres of terrain to explore, Beaver Creek Snowmobile Rentals are the perfect way to discover Colorado's pristine backcountry at your own pace. The Vail Pass Winter Recreation Area provides snowmobilers with over 100 miles of marked, groomed trails and offers over 200 powder fields for guests who would prefer to blaze their own.
Self-Guided Snowmobile Rentals are available in 2 hour, 4 hour, and 8 hour sessions. Rentals depart the Camp Hale base camp, located near Beaver Creek, Avon & Vail on the tops of the hours beginning at 9:00 am daily. Guest check-in is requested 30 minutes prior to scheduled rental departure.
Rentals are available for both Single and Double riders. Single snowmobile riders receive nimble and capable Ski-Doo Renegade 600cc machines, while double riders set out on Ski-Doo Grand Touring 600cc Snowmobiles.
Helmets are included in the cost of all Beaver Creek Snowmobile Rentals. Snowsuits, boots and helmets are available for rent on-site at the time of guest check-in.

Additional Information:
- Guests must provide their own transportation to the snowmobile base camp. 4-wheel-drive or all-wheel drive is recommended and frequently required during times of consistent snowfall. Please plan accordingly.
- Peak Season dates include: 11/23/24 – 12/1/24, 12/21/24 – 1/5/25, 1/18/25 –1/20/25, 2/15/25 - 2/17/25 and 3/1/25 – 3/23/25. Please note that 8 hour rentals are not offered during peak times.
- Beaver Creek Snowmobile Rental prices include gas and tax.
- Drivers must be 16 years of age with a valid driver's license to operate a snowmobile. Drivers must be 18 years of age in order to carry a passenger on their machine.
- A credit card imprint, serving as a damage deposit, is required on all Snowmobile Rentals.
- A signed liability waiver for personal injury is required prior to rental departure.
- All Snowmobile Rentals are prepaid at the time of booking and feature a 24-hour cancellation policy.
